 Membership Information

Membership in the Planned Giving Council of Broward County shall be limited to persons who indicate a significant interest in charitable planned giving and belong to one of the following professional categories:


  • Members of the Florida Bar

  • Members of the Florida Accountants Association or American Institute of Certified Public Accountants

  • Trust Officers or other representatives of financial institutions maintaining trust departments in the state of Florida

  • Life Insurance agents who are members of the National Association of Life Underwriters and licensed in the state of Florida

  • Securities representatives licensed with the New York Stock Exchange and licensed to the State of Florida

  • Licensed real estate professionals

  • Financial planners licensed as Certified Financial Planners (CFP) or Chartered Financial Consultants (ChFC)

  • Development Officers or Representatives working for any group which qualifies as a tax-exempt organization under the Internal Revenue Code 501 (c) (3), and maintains this status annually.

Membership dues include the cost of all breakfasts. First time guests are no charge; additional attendance is $25

Annual Membership Dues: $200
  • Dues are on a calendar year basis (January - December).
  • Nine breakfast meetings are included in membership dues.
  • The Annual Symposium is additional.
  • Membership is available to individuals only.
  • Corporate memberships are not available at this time.

Membership in the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning is a separate membership and can be accessed on their website at www.pppnet.org.
